Precise installation. Minimal disruption. Every anchor accounted for.
Rack systems provide vital support for warehouses, distribution centers, 3PL operations and light manufacturing facilities. Their construction, relocation, modification and upgrades require careful anchoring, sequencing and strict adherence to safety.
Azar Consulting delivers rack assembly, relocation, structural modifications and light-directed system installations efficiently and safely, ensuring precise documentation and minimal operational risk.
Improperly anchored or modified rack systems are one of the leading causes of warehouse injuries and OSHA citations. Every engagement we take on is scoped, sequenced and closed with full documentation — because the standard matters every time.
New rack builds from the ground up — pallet racks, shelving systems and storage structures assembled to manufacturer specifications and properly anchored to floor.
Planned movement of existing rack systems to new positions within the same facility, including disassembly, relocation, reassembly and re-anchoring with minimal operational downtime.
Inspection and installation of floor anchors for existing and newly installed rack systems, ensuring compliance with seismic, safety and facility-specific anchoring requirements.
Coordinated relocation of multiple rack groups to support facility reconfigurations, capacity expansions or operational restructuring — executed as a planned scope with clear sequencing.
Installation of light-directed picking and sorting systems across rack structures and work zones, supporting faster, more accurate operations.
Structural modifications to existing rack systems including height adjustments, additional upright columns, beam repositioning and configuration changes to accommodate evolving storage needs.
Rack work requires more upfront planning than most warehouse services. We invest that time before mobilizing — so execution on site is clean, sequenced and complete.

We review the project scope, existing rack layout, floor conditions and any load or anchoring specifications before work begins. For relocation or modification projects, we document the current state as a baseline.

We build a sequenced execution plan that accounts for live operations in the facility. For large-scale moves or multi-rack relocations, this includes staging areas, traffic flow during the project and a clear timeline for each phase.

Our teams build, relocate or modify racks per manufacturer and safety standards. Floor anchors are torqued as specified. Light-directed systems get cables, mounts and controller integration within the same scope.

Once installation is complete, we walk the finished work against the original scope — verifying anchor points, beam levels, upright plumb and system function for any light-directed components installed.

We deliver a completion package that includes the as-built rack layout, anchor documentation, load capacity confirmation and photographic record. Your operations and safety teams receive everything they need for ongoing compliance and maintenance.
Our rack and modifications work is most commonly engaged in the following situations:
