Engineered Operations. Built by People Who Understand Them.

A national consulting and operations partner for warehouses, distribution centers, 3PL operators, and active industrial sites. We engineer the systems, infrastructure, and workforce capabilities that keep complex facilities running at standard.
Who We Are

A Specialized Operations Partner for Industrial and 3PL Environments

Azar Consulting is a national consulting and operations firm focused on the physical, visual, and operational systems that define how industrial facilities perform. We work with warehouse operators, distribution centers, 3PL providers, fulfillment networks, cold storage facilities, light manufacturers, and active industrial sites across the United States.

Our scope covers the disciplines that quietly determine whether a facility runs at standard: visual management and floor marking, signage and labeling systems, rack systems and warehouse modifications, guardrails and impact protection, exterior striping and safety markings, and the full deployment of new installations and operational launches. Every engagement is built around a single principle - an industrial site should be legible, safe, and predictable on its busiest day.

We operate as a senior-led consultancy. Clients work directly with the principals responsible for scoping, planning, executing, and closing out the work. We deploy nationally, scale to multi-site programs, and design every solution to be repeatable across a footprint - not engineered for one location at a time.

How We Work

Four Disciplines That Define Every Engagement

Whether we're standardizing a single distribution center or deploying a multi-site program, the same four disciplines hold every project together.

01.

Senior-Led Engagement

You work with the principals scoping the project, not a sales channel. Every recommendation is grounded in operational reality.

02.

National Deployment

We mobilize crews, equipment, and standards across the country. One facility or twenty, the standard is the same.

03.

Workforce Integrity

Talent, training, and compliance are treated as core to the operation - not as an afterthought. Our teams are vetted, trained, and accountable.

04.

Documented Close-Out

Every engagement ends with the documentation your operations team needs to maintain the standard after we leave.

Leadership

The People Behind the Standard

Azar Consulting is led by a team with deep experience across operations, commercial leadership, workforce strategy, and compliance. Below, the principals who lead every engagement.

Maria Alejandra Azar

Principal & Director of Operations

Maria is a senior operations professional with more than 13 years of experience leading projects across large and mid-sized organizations, with a focus on the operational, administrative, and compliance disciplines that determine how industrial sites perform.

Her background combines hands-on operations leadership with extensive work as an administrative professional and paralegal, giving her a working command of the regulatory, contractual, and procedural frameworks that govern industrial environments. That dual fluency - operations on one side, compliance and documentation on the other - is what allows her to lead engagements where the cost of getting the details wrong is measured in citations, downtime, or safety incidents.

Maria began her career in legal and administrative roles, where she developed the attention to detail, structured thinking, and organizational discipline that now define how she scopes and runs industrial projects. She brings the same rigor to a distribution center launch that she once brought to complex legal and corporate matters: clear documentation, defined ownership, and zero ambiguity in execution.

Since becoming a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in 2017, she has expanded her expertise across strategic team growth, training and development, performance management, and labor relations - disciplines that are central to industrial operations, where workforce stability, training quality, and accountability directly determine throughput and safety performance.

Her work on international organizational projects and her depth in employee relations make her a trusted advisor for clients standing up new sites, scaling existing operations, or formalizing the workforce systems that keep complex facilities running. Her diverse experience across administrative, legal, and operational roles gives her a complete view of a business - and a consistent ability to align the right people, processes, and standards with the operational outcomes leadership is trying to achieve.

Within Azar Consulting, Maria also leads the firm's workforce and compliance function - a discipline treated as core to every industrial engagement, given the direct impact talent quality and regulatory rigor have on operational performance.

Soledad Sánchez

Director of Commercial Strategy

Soledad joined Azar Consulting in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in business administration and commercial leadership across multiple industries.

Her expertise centers on building and leading high-performing commercial structures: recruiting and managing mixed teams of employees and independent contractors, designing training and performance systems, and aligning commercial execution with operational capacity. That experience translates directly to the industrial and 3PL environments Azar Consulting serves, where every engagement depends on coordinating internal teams, deployed crews, and partner resources without losing standardization or accountability.

Her career spans diverse sectors, with significant depth in the financial industry, where she structured and led commercial teams operating under tight regulatory, performance, and reporting requirements. The discipline of operating in a heavily regulated environment shapes how she leads engagements at Azar: clear scopes, measurable outcomes, documented execution, and a structured commercial relationship from first contact to project close-out.

Soledad holds a degree in Design from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, followed by a specialization in Business Administration from Universidad del Rosario in Bogota. The combination is unusual and intentional - a design background gives her a structural eye for systems and process flow, while her business administration training anchors how she scopes engagements, manages teams, and drives results.

She is known for strategic thinking and an ability to align commercial goals with team capabilities, helping clients translate operational ambition into executable programs. Her focus is on sustainable growth: not just landing the work, but building the commercial and operational structure required to scale it across multiple sites or regions.

Within Azar Consulting, Soledad also contributes to the firm's workforce strategy and training function - particularly where commercial leadership, team structuring, and performance systems intersect with how operational crews are built and managed in industrial environments.

Dianne Torres

Director of Commercial Strategy
azar team dianne deployment oversight

Dianne Torres is a senior operations and talent acquisition leader with more than a decade of experience launching new locations, scaling operational teams, and driving consistent performance across geographically distributed sites.

Her focus is on the operational side of workforce deployment: the systems, standards, and people required to stand up a new facility or expand an existing operation without compromising quality. She has led the launch of new branch locations from the ground up, designed and implemented replicable onboarding systems, and built the operational rhythms that allow distributed teams to execute against the same standard regardless of geography.

That experience maps directly to the work Azar Consulting performs in installations, launches, and deployment support for industrial and 3PL clients. Standing up a new distribution center, deploying a multi-site safety program, or rolling out standardized visual management across a network all depend on the same disciplines Dianne has built her career on: full-cycle recruiting, repeatable onboarding, mentorship of team leads, and orientation systems that translate corporate standards into floor-level execution.

Her background in sales consulting and business development gives her a sharp eye for execution. She has built her career on delivering effective solutions and translating broad business objectives into concrete, implementable programs - an orientation that fits the consultative, results-driven posture Azar Consulting brings to every engagement.

Throughout her career, Dianne has demonstrated a consistent commitment to empowering teams, improving client outcomes, and driving growth through structured, replicable systems. She brings that same discipline to every Azar engagement, ensuring that the standard set on day one is the same standard operating six months later.

Within Azar Consulting, Dianne also leads the firm's talent acquisition and onboarding function - a workforce capability built into how the company deploys crews and supports clients during new site launches and operational ramp-ups.
